Meditation Basics

Here are a few basics to get you started

1. Find a place to sit or lie that feels quiet and calm.

2. Sit or lie comfortably.

3. Close your eyes.

4. Breathe naturally. Try not to control your breath, just breathe as naturally as you can.

5. Focus your attention on your breath and how your body moves as you inhale and exhale.

6. If your mind wanders off to think about something else, like what you have to do today, or if it wanders to something that happened in the past, don't beat yourself up over it. It's okay, just bring your attention back to the breath.

7. When your timer goes off, close with kindness to yourself.

8. That's it.

To start, two to three minutes is a good amount of time to practice meditating.

Best of Luck 😀
